About the Role
Our award‑winning Food and Beverage team is at the heart of our business. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced supervisor to join our Swilcan Loft Restaurant – a 74‑cover venue overlooking the 17th hole of the Old Course and Swilcan Bridge.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining standards and operating procedures
- Ensuring all service and bar processes are followed, taking every effort to control costs
- Supporting and coaching direct reports to deliver the highest standard of customer service
- Resolving guest complaints satisfactorily, ensuring expectations are met and customer loyalty retained
- Forecasting staffing requirements to ensure adequate staff volumes
- Maintaining high standards of performance via appraisals and personal development plans, in line with business values and objectives
- Driving the success of the Food and Beverage Team through identifying continuous improvement areas
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising teams within a restaurant environment
- Excellent team‑management skills with the ability to motivate associates effectively
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and culinary practices related to beverage service
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving with strong organisational skills
