An exciting opportunity for a Spa Reception Supervisor has become available for our Kohler Waters Spa at the Old Course Hotel. Kohler Waters Spa creates relaxing, rejuvenating experiences inspired by the natural restorative properties of earth's mineral-rich waters. It is the only Kohler Waters Spa outside the US and offers a range of treatments or an all-day immersion with therapeutic water treatments and results-oriented facial and full-body massages.

Responsibilities

  • The first point of contact for all guests whether in person, by phone or by email.
  • Providing excellent customer service to all members and guests from the moment they walk through the door.
  • To implement, in conjunction with Spa Operations Manager, training plans & procedures to complete on-the-job training to all team members.
  • Monitoring shift handovers and ensuring that these are handled in a professional and beneficial manner to all team members.
  • Managing absence of team members, ensuring swift follow-up and involvement of appropriate managers if necessary.
  • Scheduling all appointments via telephone and email.
  • Corresponding with Sales and Reservations Teams.
  • Sharing information and knowledge of all treatments, facilities and products within the Spa.
  • Providing an orientation for all guests visiting our Spa.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good time management including treatment times; excellent attendance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and feel at ease with people from all walks of life.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to providing a first-class welcome, ensuring guests leave satisfied.
  • Ability to deal calmly but firmly with the occasional "difficult" guests thereby reaching a satisfactory outcome.
  • Flexible approach to the job and be able to work a variety of hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Computer literate.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Be an excellent communicator but also a good listener.
  • Be tactful and aware of the need for confidentiality.
  • Have a smart appearance and good personal hygiene.

£30,361.60 per annum
