About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Spa Attendant Supervisor. In this role you will ensure the shift runs smoothly and efficiently, while taking responsibility for the entire Spa & Leisure Attendant team and Night Attendant team. You will lead by example, ensuring the team constantly maintains the Spa and Fitness cleanliness to the highest standard according to Preferred Hotel and Health & Safety Standards.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the day‑to‑day cleanliness and hygiene of all areas of Spa and Fitness Centre in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Carry out checks to ensure that Fitness Centre and wider Spa areas are clean, well‑stocked with equipment and products, safe and hygienic.
- Provide direct support to the Spa Management Team when required, including deputising in their absence, assisting with handling of complaints, problem solving and ensuring Spa runs smoothly.
- Interact and communicate effectively with members, team members, guests, and management team.
- Carry out all cleaning procedures according to the prescribed Kohler Waters Spa standards.
- Train Spa Attendants and Night Spa Attendants, update operational procedures when needed; act as a role model with consistent mentoring and training.
- Manage cleaning stock control, undertake stock takes and process orders as requested; monitor and control stock levels and notify Spa Manager when replenishment is needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately, and follow up with the maintenance department.
- Always display a high level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with guests, employees, and contractors.
- Conduct monthly 1‑2‑1s with all Spa Attendant and Night Spa Attendant staff.
- Produce and overview Rota on a daily/monthly basis and control labour cost.
- Update the Training Manual and ensure it is always up to date.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working within a customer services environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with people from all walks of life.
- Proactive support and delegation of tasks to spa attendants.
- A role model: exhibit professionalism, maintain immaculate grooming, keep treatment areas clean, possess outstanding product knowledge and actively listen to feedback from colleagues.
- Flexible approach, able to work a variety of hours including evenings and weekends.
- Computer literate.
- Ready to face challenges, learn quickly and understand the Spa structure.
Hours & Employment
Permanent contract, 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. Salary £29,182.40 per annum.
