About the Role
Our award‑winning Food and Beverage team is at the heart of our business, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced server to join our Swilcan Loft Restaurant. Swilcan Loft is a 74‑cover restaurant with floor‑to‑ceiling windows and an outdoor terrace overlooking the 17th hole of the Old Course and the famous Swilcan Bridge.
This position is ideal for someone with strong waiting experience who wants to develop. The role will include preparing for service, maintaining high standards of service and presentation, managing a section, being the designated leader on shift, providing a 5‑star experience and creating lasting memories for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Take and deliver accurate orders while ensuring prompt and professional service.
- Attend to any guest queries and enquiries in a caring and helpful manner, and with a commitment to dealing with their issues in a positive way.
- Maintain the highest standards of service; restaurant setup and presentation throughout the outlet.
- Interact with guests, always warm, professional, helpful, and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us memorable.
Qualifications
- Previous server and customer‑service experience.
- Great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you are well organised and punctual.
- Keen eye for detail, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation.
- A desire to be the best and work with the best – learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us.
- A positive “can do” attitude toward solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
Hours and Salary
Permanent Full Time ÂŁ28,343.75 per annum
