About the Role

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced supervisor for our popular Pub, Hams Hame. Hams Hame is nestled beneath the iconic Hamilton Grand building, next to the 18th green of the world’s most famous golf course.

Hams Hame Pub:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to all customers.
  • Greeting customers, processing orders by telephone and ensuring all orders are delivered following IQA standards.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the outlet, before, during and after service by ensuring they are in accordance with the standards of practice.
  • Have a full understanding of the composition of all dishes on menu, as per specifications.
  • Support and coach associates to promote and maintain a high level of guest service in line with IQA, Visit Scotland, AA and standards.
  • Be present at regular departmental training sessions, pre-service meetings and operational meetings.
  • Be conversant with the hotel’s health and safety procedures, accident reporting procedures, safety rules, first aid arrangements, how to report unsafe conditions, licensing law, fire equipment, evacuation procedures, protective clothing, sickness, and disciplinary procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have the following qualities and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a pub or restaurant.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills who will remain calm, efficient, and reliable.
  • Someone who will look after customers needs ensuring they have a memorable visit.
  • A passion to grow sales by making sound decision.
  • A Personal License Holder is preferred.

Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40hrs over 5 days

Salary: £30,197.35 per annum + tronc
