About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Manager to join our award‑winning Food & Beverage team looking after our two cafés in the resort: Herbs and Kohler Waters Spa Café. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring every visit reflects the warmth, quality, and attention to detail synonymous with a five‑star resort.
You will lead daily operations, manage the team on the floor, coordinate service across restaurant and bar, and maintain seamless service flow at all times. You will champion high standards, drive team engagement, and foster a culture of professionalism and collaboration. Your responsibilities include overseeing reservations, managing guest feedback, supporting training and development, and ensuring guests and colleagues thrive.
To be successful you will bring:
- Proven leadership experience in a similar environment (essential)
- A strong understanding of food and beverage operations with a desire to grow in this space
- A confident, collaborative leadership style that motivates and inspires a team
- Sound knowledge of coffee standards and barista skills
- Calm under pressure with excellent problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant booking software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A vibrant, guest‑focused personality with a genuine passion for hospitality

Permanent Full Time – 40 hours over 5 days
Salary
£34,866.56 per annum
