Position Details
We are seeking to employ School Age Group Leaders in our Plymouth locations, operating out of 8 Plymouth public elementary schools.
Hours: The before school program opens at 7am until school begins. The afternoon hours are from school dismissal to 3pm, and then until 6pm.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the School Age Site Coordinator, the Group Leader will assist in supervising the program, ensuring a safe, healthy, and constructive environment for all children. The role reflects the mission and beliefs of the Old Colony YMCA.
Program Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with EEC regulations and Old Colony Y policies (Child and Youth Care policy, Child Guidance Policy, Health Care Policy).
- Assist with planning, developing, and implementing the program curriculum.
- Meet regularly with the Site Coordinator.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and monthly curriculum meetings.
