About the Role: The Marketing Manager, International Retail is a key role responsible for driving the growth and market share of OLAPLEX within the professional salon and distributor network across our international markets. In partnership with the Senior Director, you will develop comprehensive marketing strategies and programs tailored to the unique needs of professional stylists, salon owners, and distributors in key markets across Europe, Asia and Latin America. The role will own the execution of the marketing strategy for the International Professional channel and requires a deep understanding of the professional beauty industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and international partners to drive best-in-class execution and activation.

Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Partner with the full International marketing team to identify market opportunities and challenges within the professional channel in key markets.
  • In partnership with the Senior Director, develop and implement annual international professional channel marketing plans aligned with global brand strategy and regional business objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of professional-channel-focused campaigns, product launches, promotions, and educational initiatives.
  • Work closely with international distributors and regional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and effective deployment of marketing programs.

Trade Marketing & Sales Support:

  • Create sales tools and presentations to support international professional sales teams and distributors in their sell-in efforts.
  • Act as the “day to day” marketing liaison with professional distribution partners and retailers.
  • Develop and manage trade marketing programs (e.g., salon merchandising, in-salon promotions, loyalty programs) to drive product adoption and re-purchase.
  • Ensure Olaplex is effectively represented at key international professional trade shows, events, and conferences.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance within the international professional channel.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of pro-channel marketing activations.
  • Manage and track the international professional marketing budget - including investments from select distributor partners - to help ensure efficient allocation of resources.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Support the development and execution of professional education programs, working closely with Olaplex's global education team and international educators.
  • Partner closely with Brand and Product Marketing, Social Media and PR teams to ensure integrated campaigns across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain to help ensure product availability for international professional launches and promotions.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years specifically in the professional beauty, salon, or hair care industry.
  • Demonstrated marketing experience within the professional beauty space and an understanding of the salon ecosystem—including stylist needs and distribution models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across cultures.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Potential to manage and lead a direct report.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages relevant to key international markets (e.g., Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese) a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed (estimated 50%).
