We are seeking to appoint a creative, innovative eLearning designer to join our design team at Olano. You will be expected to work within a creative team to storyboard, design and develop professional eLearning courses and other training solutions for our global clients. This is a development role which will upskill the successful candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Primarily working on a range of different eLearning projects in a variety of brands and different styles.
- An intent to not only design but also understand it enough to reinterpret it to the given audience, enabling the content to be digested and understood more effectively by the learners.
- A great eye for detail and a flair for keeping up with modern animation methods.
- Work with a team of like-minded creative individuals and designers to get the best possible outcome for any project.
- Support the team with their project needs as well as the needs of your own projects.
- Work in a fast-paced environment to strict client deadlines.
- Interpret a presented brief and translate it into great designs by prototyping concepts and working mock-ups to explain an idea.
Essential requirements:
- Degree qualified (BA preferred).
- Very comfortable with using Adobe Illustrator, Audition and Photoshop.
- A portfolio of previous graphic design experience.
- Awareness in the use of Articulate Storyline and Articulate RISE or other rapid eLearning tools.
- A passion for graphics design, animation, emerging technologies, and good design practice.
- Very organised with files, version control and cloud-based storage solutions.
Qualities to set yourself ahead of the rest:
- Familiar with building animations in Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate.
- Have previous knowledge of eLearning and training.
- Have some client-facing experience, the ability to review a project you have worked on effectively with a client and present your solutions back to a client.
- High level of English language skills, a good knowledge of proofing and understanding the differences between American and UK English.
