Have the opportunity to step into the role of Vice President of Sales at Oktopost, a leading B2B social media platform. Oktopost was founded in 2013, turning social media into a measurable growth channel for B2B marketers. Today we help global brands manage, scale, and measure their social media programs.
Responsibilities
- Executive Leadership: Serve as a key member of the leadership team, shaping commercial strategy and execution. Own new logo acquisition and ARR growth.
- GTM Sales Strategy: Define and execute a sales strategy that expands Oktopost’s market presence. Build scalable go‑to‑market playbooks, territory models, and vertical strategies. Continuously refine sales processes, prospecting tools, and outreach motions to maximise pipeline growth. Manage revenue forecasting, planning, and reporting.
- Team Leadership & Culture: Build, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing sales team across multiple geographies. Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent.
- Market & New Customer Engagement: Engage CMOs and senior executives in strategic pipeline opportunities. Represent Oktopost at industry events, conferences, and thought‑leadership forums.
- Cross‑Functional Alignment: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to drive alignment and product feedback. Ensure consistent use of the EOS framework and Sandler methodology across the sales function.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years in sales or business development with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role driving net‑new revenue.
- Track Record: Proven success in building and scaling new business functions and exceeding pipeline targets.
- Leadership: Strong people management and coaching skills, with experience recruiting and developing high‑performing teams.
- Executive Selling: Demonstrated ability to lead consultative, high‑value conversations with CMOs and senior executives.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical, problem‑solving and go‑to‑market planning skills.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled in SFDC and sales enablement tools to optimise pipeline and forecasting. Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus. Experience with Sandler or other consultative/challenger sales methodology.
