Established MedTech company is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to manage and scale their Azure environment. You\’ll take ownership of the infrastructure, drive automation, and ensure systems are secure, resilient, and ready for growth.
What you\’ll be doing:
- Build, maintain, and optimise a production-grade Azure infrastructure.
- Configure and manage App Gateway, App Services, Function Apps, VMs, SQL, Storage Accounts, and Site Recovery.
- Handle networking, firewalls, VPNs, and Azure Landing Zones.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and automation to prevent issues before they arise.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions using infrastructure-as-code (PowerShell, Azure CLI, JSON).
- Collaborate with dev teams to deploy, troubleshoot, and scale applications.
- Evaluate and implement new cloud tech to improve resilience, security, and efficiency.
- Analyse outages, investigate root causes, and implement preventative measures.
What we\’re looking for:
- 4+ years in infrastructure/cloud engineering in production environments.
- Deep Azure expertise across networking, security, VMs, App Services, SQL, Backup & Recovery, Entra ID/AD, Intune, and monitoring.
- Strong scripting skills and hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code.
- Solid knowledge of networking, security, virtualisation, and cloud best practices.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
