This is a newly created role for an experienced Data Transformation Consultant with an established technology consultancy working within regulated, asset-intensive industries. This role focuses on complex data migration and transformation programmes supporting engineering, construction, energy and infrastructure environments. It combines hands-on technical delivery with client-facing consultancy.
You’ll be asked to:
- Lead data discovery sessions to define migration scope, approach and risks
- Analyse customer data and identify quality, structural and compliance issues
- Facilitate detailed data mapping aligned to target EIM platforms
- Design and deliver accurate, auditable ETL processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues
- Produce validation and reconciliation reporting
And should have experience of:
- Delivery of large-scale, complex data migration / ETL projects
- Experience working in regulated data environments (ECM / EDMS / document management)
- Strong client-facing consultancy and requirements-gathering skills
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in at least two of: SQL, PostgreSQL, C#, VBA, PowerShell, Python (Pandas)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Any additional experience of AI assisted data analysis or transformation
- Exposure to ECM platforms, knowledge of EDMS tools and SharePoint document library migrations would be helpful.
