Role Description
The Design Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom.
This role oversees the end-to-end design process for construction projects, coordinating architectural, interior, and technical design activities to meet project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
The Design Manager collaborates with internal teams, external consultants, and contractors to align design intent with buildability, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in design management for construction or built environment projects, including coordination of multi-disciplinary design teams.
- Proficiency in design and documentation tools (e. g., Auto CAD, Revit, BIM platforms) and familiarity with modern construction methods.
- Solid understanding of building regulations, planning processes, and industry standards in the United Kingdom.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments is highly beneficial; prior work within the London market is a plus.

What we offer
- Competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- 40-hour working week (Monday to Friday),8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- 21 days’ annual leave (pro rata) 8 bank holidays.
