At Okarno we're looking for a customer focused individual to join us as a Customer Service Advisor, in order to provide support to our customers from our Ruddington site.
This Customer Service Advisor will be a part of the Value Chain team at Okarno, which is famous for delivering exceptional service and support to our valued customers.

This role will be fully office based whilst training, then once you are up to speed our hybrid model of work will then come into effect, working two days in the office and three days from home on a rotating basis.

What you'll be doing
- Customer Service Advisors ensure customer satisfaction and retention by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information in a professional and efficient manner.
You'll take and amend orders whether via EDI, emailed or over the phone.
You'll be the first point of contact for customer service queries including stock availability, product information, bespoke orders, recycling schemes, account management for specific customers, support with our website, social media, delivery updates and any other customer service requests.
It's a truly interesting and varied role, and as you become fully conversant with all things Okarno, you'll have the opportunity progress through our customer service pathway and increase your earning potential.
- Providing up to date information about customer orders, delivery leadtimes, and despatch information.
- Processing and managing a range of different types of orders
- Proactively managing the customer order book to meet our company despatch forecasts and our customers' needs.
- Liaising with production planners and logistics teams to ensure that leadtimes are as close as possible to customer requirements and that all delivery requirements are understood and well communicated between all parties.
- Liaising with credit control functions to ensure that any potential credit issues are understood.
