A well-established and highly respected manufacturer within the construction and building products sector is seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This is a strategic role combining account management with new market development. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market presence in the Republic of Ireland while managing and developing an established Northern Ireland client base.
Working closely with developers, architects, and trade professionals, the role involves managing the full sales pipeline, developing relationships, providing technical guidance, and identifying new business opportunities. This position offers a high level of autonomy and would suit a commercially driven individual who is capable of working independently, developing a sales function, and contributing to the long-term growth strategy of the business.
Key requirements:
- Proven business development or sales experience, ideally within construction, building products, or joinery
- Strong commercial and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage a full sales cycle and develop new markets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel (mainly NI & ROI)
