We are partnering with a highly regarded and rapidly expanding organisation operating at the forefront of the building services and engineering sector across the UK and Europe. As part of their continued growth and operational scaling, they are seeking to appoint a Head of Planning & Forecasting to lead a critical function within the business. This is a senior leadership opportunity offering real influence across a complex, multi-project environment.
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the successful candidate will take ownership of the planning, scheduling, and forecasting capability, ensuring alignment between projects, manufacturing, and resources to enable predictable and efficient delivery. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of planners, analysts, and schedulers, driving best practice in integrated planning, capacity optimisation, and data-led decision-making.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, operations, manufacturing, and engineering, you will ensure that plans are not only accurate, but actionable and aligned to business priorities. A key focus of the role will be to enhance visibility, improve forecasting accuracy, and proactively identify risks and constraints, enabling the business to scale effectively while maintaining operational control.
This position requires a leader who can operate both strategically and operationally, shaping frameworks and processes while remaining close enough to delivery to drive real impact.
The Person:
- Proven experience in a senior planning, forecasting, or programme controls leadership role within a complex, project-led environment
