Our client, a leading diversified group operating across facilities management, construction, manufacturing, and property is seeking an experienced Corporate Services Director (CSD) to support a planned leadership transition and drive the next phase of organisational growth.
The Role in brief: Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will provide strategic oversight of People, IT/Data/AI, and Finance functions. You will shape scalable systems, strong financial discipline, and a people-first culture to support both organic and acquisition-led expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Board-level leadership across HR/People, Finance and IT/Data/AI
- Financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury alignment with growth plans
- Digital and data transformation, including AI adoption and system modernisation
- Delivery of a multi-year People Plan across a 400-strong workforce
- Governance, compliance, and assurance oversight
- Support for M&A activity
- Embedding a high-performance, accountable, collaborative culture
About You
- Strategic leader with the ability to turn vision into operational results
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in growth, change, or transformation
- Strong commercial acumen and governance capability
- Skilled communicator, influencer, and relationship builder
- Background in multi-site operations with turnover of £50M+
- Action-oriented, disciplined, and culturally aligned to a collaborative, values-driven environment
