We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and deliver a dynamic growth strategy across the Republic of Ireland market. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional to play a key role within a forward-thinking FMCG organisation, shaping strategic partnerships and driving profitable sales growth.
The Role
- Lead the business development strategy for the ROI market, contributing to short, medium and long-term commercial objectives.
- Manage and grow key ROI accounts at head office level, building strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Identify and convert new commercial opportunities into strategic partnerships.
- Develop sales forecasts, manage KPIs and deliver against ambitious sales targets.
- Lead pricing negotiations, promotional planning, category reviews and annual account plans.
- Monitor market and consumer trends to ensure competitive product offerings and support NPD initiatives.
- Represent the business at trade shows and customer events to generate new leads and strengthen brand presence.
The Person
- Proven account management and/or business development experience within the FMCG sector in ROI.
- Experience selling to ROI multiples and discounters.
- Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of margins and cost of sales.
- A track record of delivering sales growth in a competitive environment.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and organisational ability, with the confidence to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to travel extensively within ROI and a full, clean driving licence.
