Our client is a well-established and globally recognised manufacturing company based in North Co. Down. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead its production operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing all manufacturing departments to ensure production is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
The role will involve managing production schedules, optimising resources, monitoring KPIs, maintaining quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. The Production Manager will lead and develop a large production team, promote a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing, and work closely with purchasing, quality and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Applicants should have:
- A proven track record in production management within a multi-line manufacturing environment
- Experience working with quality management systems such as ISO9001/ISO14001
- Strong people management experience, and experience using ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills are essential.
