Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead and coordinate packaging operations on their night shift team. The Role
Reporting to senior operations leadership, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and managing all shift activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and compliance requirements are consistently achieved. You will provide strong leadership across the production team while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and health & safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shift output in line with the production schedule
- Monitor and oversee all production activities within the department
- Lead, motivate, and develop the production team to maximise performance and productivity
- Ensure all personnel are appropriately trained before undertaking specific duties
- Maintain and support Quality Management System (QMS) standards and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department
- Provide leadership, technical mentoring, and operational support to the wider team
- Promote and maintain high standards of health & safety throughout the department
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree or third-level qualification preferred
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience managing and developing production or shift teams
- Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing experience would be advantageous
