Our client is a dynamic, family-owned business specialising in the manufacture and fit-out of premium furniture. With a diverse client base across Ireland, Europe, and North America, they are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service. This role will suit a qualified or part-qualified accountant or bookkeeper with the aptitude and ambition to develop into a more senior, managerial position. Remuneration will reflect the importance of the appointment, and a structured professional development plan will be in place to support your long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate entries
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account analysis
  • Assist with audits, budget preparation, and ad hoc financial analysis
  • Provide support with office management, payroll, and HR administration

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified, part-qualified, or with strong practical accounting experience (manufacturing experience advantageous but not essential)
  • Computer literate with strong attention to detail
  • Numerate, articulate, and highly trustworthy
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, proactive approach
