We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our Quality Control and Returns team based at Swindon in our 3PL warehouse.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of returns, maintaining high standards of product quality, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QC & Returns team, ensuring efficient processing of returned items, orders and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee the inspection of returned goods, identifying defects and determining appropriate next steps.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and returned products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely updating of all paperwork and warehouse management systems for returns and quality control.
- Supervise the picking, packing, and dispatch of both domestic ("Store Seconds") and international orders, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Effectively plan and allocate resources, including staffing, equipment, and time, to meet daily operational demands and seasonal peaks.
- Manage inventory accuracy within the QC and returns area, including conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring Inventory records (NetSuite) are precise.
- Oversee the dedicated inventory of spare parts, managing their receipt, organization, and distribution to support repair and quality control processes.
- Monitor and analyze returns data to identify trends and develop strategies for reducing return rates.
- Collaborate with internal departments (customer service, logistics, and PD) to resolve quality-related issues and implement process improvements.
- Develop and implement procedures to streamline the returns process and enhance operational efficiency.
- Train, coach, and support team members to maintain high performance and ensure accurate assessments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the QC & Returns area.
- Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on team performance and returns metrics.
- Act as a key point of contact for escalated quality or returns-related inquiries, ensuring timely resolution.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with inventory or returns management systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
