ABOUT US
At OKA, our Concession Managers play a pivotal role in representing the OKA brand within luxury department stores or partner retail locations. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring that our beautiful, practical, and comfortable collections are showcased impeccably, delivering an outstanding customer experience that reflects the OKA ethos.
We are currently looking to recruit a Store Manager (Maternity Cover 9 months) to support our Retail Team, based within Hoopers department store in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
We are honoured to be amongst the mix of eclectic luxury brands in the renowned Hoopers department store of Tunbridge Wells. Inside, our customers will find all the smaller essentials from our collection, perfect as finishing touches for the home or to give as gifts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Concession Operations:
- Oversee all operational aspects of the concession, maintaining high stands of presentation, merchandising and stock management inline with OKA brand guidelines
- Work collaboratively with the host store management and teams to ensure smooth running of the concession area
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels and performance within your concession team
Customer Experience:
- Lead by example providing exceptional customer service that reflect the OKA brand values
- Develop and maintain client relationships through personalised service and clienteling initiatives
- Handle customer enquiries and resolves issues promptly and professionally
- Represent OKA at all times, ensuring brand standards are upheld and enhanced within the concession environment
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, onboard and train concession staff to deliver excellent product knowledge and customer engagement
- Motivate, develop and manage your team to meet sales targets and KPIs
- Encourage a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with OKAs values
- Proactively drive sales performance, analyse concession metrics and implement strategies to maximise revenue
- Assist with promotional activities. in store events and product launches in collaboration with OKA retail and marketing teams
ABOUT YOU
- Proven retail management experience, ideally within concessions or department store environments
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving sales in a luxury or premium retail setting.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and developing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders.
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively.
- Passion for interiors, design, and the OKA brand is highly desirable
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays
