We are currently looking to recruit a Midweight Graphic Designer to support our Design Team, based at our office in Didcot, Oxfordshire. We operate a hybrid working model: three or more days from the office, the remainder of the week from home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design impactful and response-driven direct marketing materials, including social and digital content, direct mail, and visual retail communications, ensuring they align with OKA's brand values and identity.
  • Working with the other Designers, Marketing teams, and Copywriters on multi-channel promotional campaigns, visualising and developing concepts to the creation and delivery of final assets.
  • Contribute to the ongoing creative evolution of the OKA brand, exploring new ideas and solutions to enhance our visual identity.
  • Supporting wider design team with BAU asks such as designs and concepts for the E-commerce site, layout of direct mail materials, point of sale, visual retail solutions, press releases, and internal communications when required.
  • Managing design projects from the concept to completion, while liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design and build of dynamic social media and email templates.
  • Actively contributing ideas in creative meetings and brainstorming sessions and having the ability to build and develop creative concepts related to design.
  • Staying ahead of trends and new technology.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience as a midweight Graphic Designer or Digital Designer within a brand or agency environment.
  • You're a confident creative thinker, excited to take on a challenge and produce new ideas for a creative luxury brand.
  • Proven experience solely managing design projects, from ideation and research through to presenting mock-ups and producing final assets.
  • Can showcase an exceptional portfolio.
  • Expert in the working Adobe Creative Suite, with a keen interest in developing new skills for both online and offline design.
  • Proven experience in crafting creative content for digital and mobile-first marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, and on-site materials.
  • A talent for grasping brand strategy and translating it into compelling digital communication.
  • Possess strong typographic, layout, and motion design skills.
  • Up to date with the latest design trends and in tune with the ever-evolving social landscape.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and up for a challenge.
  • Diligent in ensuring all creative outputs meet the highest standards of quality and consistency, reflecting the luxury and sophistication of our brand.
  • An adaptable and versatile designer, happy to take on a challenge – from detail focused packaging design to brainstorming new ideas for campaign concepts.
  • A team player, with a positive and enthusiastic working ethic.
