This esteemed role will have you coordinating the production process and overseeing our team of junior producers and freelance specialists. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Production, from pre-production and content shooting, seeing the magic all the way through to post-production. You’ll ensure that everything going out those doors is nailing all project deliverables on time, on budget, and of course, to the highest standards.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Own & manage all project schedules, budgets, scoping, and staffing plans.
  • Build a shooting crew according to project size and complexity.
  • Manage resource and traffic flow into the production department to ensure teams are working efficiently and to deadline.
  • Liaising and ensuring smooth communication across the creative production and accounts departments, to make sure creative vision, budgets and delivery are joined up across the teams.
  • Managing multiple projects across all aspects of production from beginning to end including: pre-production planning, content shoot production management (still and video), managing crew, talent and resource and coordinating post-production.
  • Sourcing, commissioning and working with editors, animators, talent and other freelance specialists.
  • Assisting the leadership team in optimising our creative strategy by staying up to date on content trends, and proposing original ideas and new formats of execution.
  • Managing production resource allocation based on capabilities and availabilities required for the project.
  • Supervising the producers assigned to you and ensure they achieve client satisfaction on every project by meeting (and in many cases exceeding) the terms of the brief.
  • Ensuring the producers are successfully undertaking their required administrative duties on every project such as: budget and scheduling, call sheets, risks assessments, permission agreements.
  • Serving as a level of quality control on every project you supervise by reviewing all content before it goes to a client or the wider team.
  • Mentoring and training your junior team to grow their production skills.
  • Inspiring confidence and guiding the junior team to constantly push the creative boundaries.
  • Onboarding new team members and freelancers, to help them settle in quickly, understand the client, understand the brief and deliver their best work.
  • Additional tasks/duties as required/needed.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years experience as a producer.
  • Extensive skills and experience in most or all forms of content production to a senior level (i.e. pre-production planning, photography shoots, filming, live events and post-production edits and animation).
  • Skills in production project management and process.
  • Experience in managing your own team.
  • Excellent project management and the ability to produce multiple shoots for different clients simultaneously.
  • An excellent understanding of the social media industry and platforms and content is best delivered to work optimally on each platform.
  • Able to prioritise workload requirements.
  • Understanding of shoot production legal requirements and health and safety regulations.
  • Good understanding of AI production assistance when required (i.e. storyboards, background, translations, research etc).
