You'll be a vital part of our business, supporting client accounts, ensuring timely financial reporting, and helping deliver the seamless service our reputation is built on.
Key Responsibilities- Process day-to-day client bookkeeping and conduct receipt analysis
- Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in line with statutory timelines
- Maintain sales and purchase ledgers and reconcile transactions
- Assist with preparing accounts to trial balance for a range of entities (sole traders, limited companies, LLPs)
- Support payment runs and gain approvals from relevant stakeholders
- Manage operational relationships with banks, vendors, and clients
- Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment, efficiency, and consistency of client delivery
- Contribute to a strong culture of accountability and high performance
We are looking for someone who is:
- Educated to A-level (or equivalent) and hungry to learn
- Studying towards (or ready to begin) a professional accounting qualification
- Methodical and detail-obsessed, but able to see the bigger picture
- Adaptable, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Digitally literate and enthusiastic about mastering our core systems (CCH, Virtual Cabinet, Excel)
- A confident communicator with a strong sense of ownership and discretion
