As our footprint, portfolio, and public profile continue to grow, we are seeking a Public Relations Officer to strengthen our external communications, brand visibility, and stakeholder engagement across multiple platforms.
The Role
The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for managing and enhancing OJ Solutions’ public image, media presence, and communications strategy. You will work closely with leadership, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure consistent, credible, and compelling messaging across all external channels. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility while remaining closely connected to the business and its leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Public Relations & Media
- Develop and deliver PR strategies aligned to business objectives
- Build and manage relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry platforms
- Draft and distribute press releases, statements, and media responses
- Secure media coverage across business, technology, and professional services publications
- Ensure consistency of messaging across press, digital, and external communications
- Support company announcements, project wins, partnerships, and thought leadership
- Manage reputational risk and support crisis communications where required
- Collaborate with leadership to position OJ Solutions as a credible voice in project management, IT, and transformation
- Support content creation for LinkedIn, newsletters, websites, and external publications
- Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, awards, and industry recognition
- Support communications with partners, clients, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate messaging across group companies and initiatives where required
About You
Essential
- Proven experience in a Public Relations, Communications, or Media role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing media relationships and securing coverage
- Ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging messages
- Highly organised, proactive, and confident working with senior stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience within professional services, consultancy, or technology environments
- Understanding of digital PR and social media strategy
- Degree or qualification in PR, Communications, Journalism, or related field
