Regional Managing Surveyor β South
The Role
We are supporting a rapidly expanding national surveying business thatβs looking to add a Regional Managing Surveyor to their leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to combine hands-on surveying expertise with people leadership, helping to mentor and inspire a growing team of surveyors while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

π Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a regional team of surveyors to hit targets around service, quality, and client satisfaction
- Support new starters and less experienced surveyors with hands-on development and guidance
- Conduct regular team briefings, CPD events, and catch-ups to keep surveyors engaged and connected
- Collaborate closely with central operations, bookings, and audit teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Provide feedback and contribute to continuous improvements in processes, technology, and survey standards
- Undertake residential surveys and valuations to stay sharp and lead by example
- Represent the business as a brand ambassador, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
π Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge and technical expertise across residential surveying
- RICS membership (MRICS/FRICS/AssocRICS) and VRS registered
- Strong people leadership skills with proven ability to inspire, mentor, and develop others
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both with clients and colleagues
- A pragmatic problem solver with strong organisational skills and a track record of meeting deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with experience delivering outstanding service
- Eligible to work in the UK and able to complete pre-employment screening
