We’re working with a well-established software provider delivering mission-critical solutions into highly secure, operational environments across the public sector. They’re continuing to grow their UK Customer Success function and are looking for a Technical Specialist to take ownership of deployments, onboarding, and ongoing technical delivery across their customer base.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll act as the technical authority throughout the full lifecycle — from proof of concept through to live environments and ongoing support.
- Deploy and configure customer environments across cloud and on-prem setups
- Lead technical onboarding from infrastructure preparation through to go-live
- Act as a technical advisor during proof of concept engagements
- Plan and deliver upgrades, migrations, and system changes
- Configure and support integrations across identity, storage, and external systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues end-to-end during live incidents
- Maintain system health through monitoring, patching, and proactive support
- Produce clear technical documentation including runbooks and deployment guides
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to surface recurring issues
Requirements:
- 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role (implementation, support, solutions engineering or similar)
- Strong Linux experience (Ubuntu and/or RHEL) in production environments
- Solid Azure knowledge across infrastructure, storage, and managed services
- Experience with identity systems (Entra ID / Azure AD, OIDC, SSO)
- Strong networking fundamentals — DNS, firewalls, VPNs, certificates
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (setup, configuration, troubleshooting, backups)
- Experience working with APIs and system integrations
- Comfortable operating in regulated or security-conscious environments
- Exposure to Kubernetes or containerised environments (AKS, Helm etc.)
- Experience working with public sector customers
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance.
