Our client is an extremely exciting business in the real estate and surveying space, offering a wide range of home move services. As they continue to grow rapidly, they are hiring multiple Residential Building Surveyors across the UK. Surveyors will focus on delivering high-quality assessments rather than high volumes, carrying out just two Level 2 surveys per day or one Level 3 survey, always within their agreed geographical patch.
The Role
- Carry out Level 2 residential building surveys with accuracy and attention to detail
- Support occasional Level 3 surveys as required, with full training provided
- Provide clear, professional reports for clients, ensuring high-quality service standards
- Manage your own diary and geographical patch effectively
- Engage with clients and stakeholders in a professional and confident manner
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain service excellence
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Assoc RICS / MRICS / FRICS qualified with VRS (minimum 1 year PQE)
- Proven experience in Level 2 building pathology and residential valuation
- Ability to fee earn immediately without the need for additional home survey training
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Organised, self‑motivated, and capable of managing your own workload
- Professional approach to client‑facing interactions
The Package
- Basic salary £50,000 – £60,000
- Bonus £3,000 – £9,000 (dependent on billing)
- Car allowance £4,000 plus mileage
