We currently have a vacancy for a Class 2 fuel tanker driver to join our team on a full-time basis working 40 hours per week. The role will be based at our new depot opening in Dumfries.
Our tanker driver vacancy offers the following:
- 40 hours a week (no nights away)
- Company pension

- You will be the only driver using your allocated vehicle

WHO WE ARE:
Oilfast are the fastest growing and now one of the largest fuel distributors in Scotland. In 12 years, we have grown to a level where we have 10 depots across the UK (mostly in Scotland) and a large fleet of tankers and flatbeds delivering diesel, gas oil, home heating oil, lubricants, AdBlue®, gas bottles and fuel tanks out of those depots to a range of agricultural, commercial and domestic customers.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The business has the requirement for a full-time tanker driver to work with our team, driving a rigid fuel tanker, making fuel deliveries and providing exceptional customer care.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Drive rigid fuel tanker to both domestic and commercial customers to deliver derv, gas oil and kerosene.
- Deliver first class service, providing a friendly, professional approach to our customers.
- Conscientious driving and fuel delivery to ensure health and safety is paramount.
- Accurate completion of paperwork on deliveries and stock levels.
- Completion of daily vehicle checks, reporting of defects and maintaining general maintenance as required.
- To adhere to transport legislation and take work time and driving breaks in accordance with the rules in place.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Class 2 HGV Licence
- Current ADR (minimum in tanks and packages). This is not essential
- Drivers CPC
- Petroleum Passport preferable but not essential
- Conscientious and reliable driver
- Personable and able to build relationships with customers
