Role Overview: Due to sustained growth, the company is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager with a background in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and solar energy projects. This is a key role within the Projects team, responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of renewable energy infrastructure developments from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities: Manage utility-scale battery storage and solar PV projects from initial planning through to completion. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders. Lead project planning activities, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning. Coordinate and oversee engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project performance using KPIs and inspection/test plans, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to maintain progress and quality standards. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Manage all project documentation, including contracts, technical reports, permits, and correspondence. Promote best practices and support continuous improvement across project delivery processes. Candidate Profile: Degree or recognised qualification in project management, engineering, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of experience delivering renewable energy projects, with a focus on BESS and solar PV. Proven track record in leading multi-disciplinary teams on infrastructure or energy projects. In-depth knowledge of battery storage systems and solar technologies, including relevant industry standards. Strong organisational and leadership capabilities with excellent stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
