Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and validate Material Master data for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification.
- Perform material master set up (Creation and Extension) in a high-volume production environment (SAP MUST).
- Ensure business rules are applied and adhered while performing MM creation/extension/Changes/updates.
- Support Material Master changes request provided by Functional team through team room request.
- Follow Global standard Data validation governance Process to support ISC digital initiatives (Rapid response, Data accuracy & Quality).
- Build & support internal robust material master support process to support BA ISC Initiatives and Goals.
- Be instrumental in ensuring that the common process is followed properly and monitoring of the successful completion of the workflow.
- Communicate with Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems, follow up with Functional team to get closure of Open part setup requests.
- Use ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to support Honeywell's development processes.
- Be responsible for the quality and consistency of the data entered into the system as defined by globally located ISC & Offering Managements.
- Managing Product / Material data and Bill of Materials BOM, Routing & Production Version, Purchase Info Record, Source list & Standard Cost in the SAP ERP System.
- Be the evangelist for process enhancement & changes.
Experience and Education Required:
- A Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering background with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
- A proven experience with an ERP system performing material master set up (Creation and Extension) in a high-volume production environment (SAP MUST).
- A demonstrated understanding of configuration management.
- Working experience in Engineering, R&D or other kind of technology experience is a plus.
- Supply chain management, Managing Product / Material data and Bill of Materials, Material Master data management (MDM), Global interaction.
Skills and Qualification Required:
- SAP (ERP) End user- Must.
- Good written & verbal communication skills in English.
- Computer skills, skillful in MS Office and Adobe tools etc.
- MS Access - Knowledge.
- MS Excel.
- MS SharePoint.
- Understanding of the New Product Introduction process.
- Understanding of Six sigma principles.
- Detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Organized and thorough in daily work.
