Inventory Controller – Vestas

Vestas is a world-leading renewable energy company that develops, builds, installs, and maintains wind turbines globally. We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller for our tools storage facility in Seaham, County Durham. If you are an experienced Inventory Controller with a proactive mindset and a structured working approach, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
- Manage tool updates and replacements
- Implement new tools and calculate material needs in the warehouse
- Conduct forecasting and long-term planning
- Oversee MRP data governance and work with master data
- Create purchase orders for repair and calibration
- Buy spare parts for installation tools and lifting equipment
- Enrich item data and manage safety stock levels
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge
- Experience with SAP or similar systems
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
