Wood is currently recruiting for a Construction Supervisor - Onshore Landfall Representative (contract). The role will be working at the Redcar site office on an energy transition project as part of a IPMT team.
The Role
As the Onshore Landfall Representative you will be responsible for the planning and execution of the onshore scopes (landfall, outlet facility and onshore pipeline) within the offshore project.
The working hours will be up to 7 days a week x 12 hrs days - rotation / leave schedule to be agreed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the Installation Contractor at the landfall works location during all project phases
- Monitor all facets of work within the landfall works scope of work to ensure that schedule, technical, quality and HSES requirements are, as a minimum, met or improved upon
- Review and monitor the installation contractors readiness process to ensure a progressive preparation is made by the contractor for all phases of site activities and that this is documented
- Report to the onshore construction lead on a daily and weekly basis, identifying all issues which present a risk to the site works and in addition offer mitigating measures / work plans as applicable and agreed
- Ensure that all landfall work activities are performed in compliance with project technical requirements and fit for purpose
- Ensure identification and resolution of detailed interface issues, in conjunction with other site contractors in an efficient and effective manner
- Coordination with other Client disciplines in respect of Quality, HSE and Engineering

- Extensive experience in onshore / offshore construction industry, especially including landfalls, overland pipelines and Above Ground Instillation facilities
- Sound experience in overseeing on site contractors
- Ability to develop good working relationships with contractors and contractor personnel and progress collaborative problem solving
- Fluid communicator capable to represent the project in front of third parties and other stakeholders in a professional and organized manner
- A good knowledge of pipeline and piping welding and NDE techniques
