Responsibilities:

  • Ensure welding compliance in respect of identity, traceability, H&S and quality requirements.
  • Ensure operating procedures are followed to ensure weld quality is maintained.
  • Produce fabrications in accordance with manufacturing drawings.
  • Utilise metal cutting equipment ensuring safety standards are achieved.
  • Perform pre-use checks on all welding associated plant and report faults.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with staff to improve services to customers.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required or deemed necessary to ensure the quality of goods is met and work is carried out in a health and safe fashion.
  • Ensure corrective action is taken following internal audit reports on any plant or equipment within the department.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Advise Supervisor of any infringements of the company health and safety policy.
  • Develop self within role.
  • Create and maintain good working relationships.
