We are now looking for a Subsea Senior Technical Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role As a Senior Technical Advisor, you will provide expert subsea engineering support to ensure the effective development, deployment and management of OSRL subsea well intervention equipment for source control emergency response and related services. Contributing to our operational excellence, you will lead the development and maintenance of technical data, operational manuals and standard operating procedures for OSRL subsea well intervention equipment for source control emergency incidents. Additionally, you will: – Identify, develop and manage the implementation of subsea engineering projects – Support preparedness activities – Track regulatory and technical changes – Represent us at conferences and technical forums – Support the creation and review of Source Control Emergency Response Plans About You To be considered as a Senior Technical Advisor, you will need: – Extensive deep-water operational experience of the installation and operation of subsea systems – Technical experience of oil and gas subsea technology including the design and installation of drilling and production subsea equipment – Previous employment in an operational capacity for an E&P company, drilling contractor or subsea installation contractor – Knowledge of subsea well intervention equipment and systems – Extensive knowledge of oil & gas industry technology and standards – Knowledge of the technical practices of the E&P operating companies – A mechanical engineering degree, equivalent qualification or similar industry experience Other organisations may call this role Subsea Engineer, Subsea Technical Consultant, Subsea Systems Engineer, or Subsea Well Control Engineer.
