Optimus Plus, a PD&MS Group company, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team on a full-time, employee basis.
About The Role

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the structural integrity management of offshore structures in the oil and gas sector, proficiency in hand calculations and analysis software, and strong technical report writing and communication skills.
Key Duties
- Define the scope of work required
- Contribute to project plans and schedules

- Develop cost-effective, safe engineering solutions that add value and address operational issues, collaborating with colleagues for optimal outcomes
- Conduct onshore and offshore surveys

About You
Experience / Competence
Candidates should have offshore structural engineering experience, particularly in brownfield work and asset integrity management, with familiarity with API, AISC, DNV, and ISO codes. Experience with SESAM for fatigue analysis is highly desirable. Alternatively, candidates with extensive civil/structural engineering experience, strong theoretical knowledge, and familiarity with software like ABAQUS and industry-standard codes are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
BSc or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Chartered Engineer status preferred.
Software Skills
Essential: SESAM GeniE, MS Office. Desirable: STAAD Pro, USFOS, ABAQUS, Mathcad.
