This is a Permanent position with an exciting, growing, company!
Our client is a specialist in Material Handling, specifically within hazardous industries such as Mining & tunnelling.
The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the integrity and delivery of the electrical engineering and technical elements of work focusing on the execution of the electrical engineering tasks, ensuring the scope is well defined, controlled, understood, and aligned with the deliverables and safety requirements.
You will work closely with the engineers across the business (technical, process, design and project) as well as other functional managers and subcontractors to progress these deliverables and manage/ support any queries that may arise.
Requirements:
- HNC in Electrical and/or Controls engineering
- Experience within a similar field leading a team of electrical engineers in a contract environment.
- Experience carrying out the detail design, specification and procurement of electrical and control systems associated with material handling systems operating in onerous conditions.
- Demonstrable knowledge of mechanical processes and the application of process design.
- Knowledge of current legislative requirements and standards including the IET Wiring Regulations latest edition
