A global energy services company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead international sales activity within its well construction division. The role focuses on a product portfolio that includes casing accessories, centralisers, and cementing tools, with responsibility for managing performance across Europe, Africa, and the CIS. In addition to developing regional strategy, the position involves supporting tenders, strengthening client and distributor relationships, and driving commercial growth. Regular international travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading sales activity across the assigned region, with a focus on casing accessories, centralisers, and related well construction products.
- Setting performance targets, manage account and product coverage, and implement strategies to grow market share.
- Maintaining strong relationships with drilling and well construction teams across operator and service company clients.
- Providing commercial guidance on key accounts, complex negotiations, and sales planning.
- Monitoring customer activity, market trends, and competitor movements to support accurate forecasting and regional business planning.
- Collaborating with product line and technical teams to communicate market needs and inform product positioning or development.
- Preparing and coordinating tender responses and commercial proposals, ensuring timely submission and internal alignment.
- Supporting the development of regional marketing plans and lead distributor and agent engagement across assigned markets.
- Ensuring compliance with all trade, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Tracking key sales metrics and support corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
About You
- Strong background in sales and business development within the energy sector, with proven experience in well construction products such as casing equipment, centralisers, cementing tools, or similar downhole technologies.
- Confident managing commercial performance across international markets.
- Skilled in customer engagement, bid strategy, negotiation, and value-based selling.
- Experience managing or supporting agent and distributor networks.
- Familiar with tendering processes and compliance in an international commercial environment.
- Comfortable contributing to broader business planning, including budgeting and P&L.
- Open to regular international travel (up to 50%).
