Superior Recruitment Group has a fantastic opportunity available in Hull for an EC&I Workpack Engineer. This is a permanent position and will be site-based.

We are also able to offer a weekly accommodation allowance for any EC&I Workpack Engineer living outside of the Humberside region.

As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Work Pack Engineer, your role is to develop EC&I Installation Work Packs (IWPs) from information submitted by the client, in the form of Construction Work Packs (CWPs). These IWPs will guide site activities and measure progress.

Training will be provided to use the client Smart Construct system, which contains all the CWPs and relevant documentation for creating IWPs.

Your activities as a Work Pack Engineer will include:

  1. Develop EC&I work packs for various projects, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements
  2. Ensure work packs include all necessary drawings, specifications, procedures, and materials for execution
  3. Collaborate with project/construction managers, engineers, and stakeholders to plan and schedule mechanical work activities
  4. Coordinate with procurement/materials team to ensure resource availability for IWP execution
  5. Identify potential risks and issues, proactively addressing them to prevent delays or safety concerns
  6. Communicate with other departments to align project timelines, scope, and deliverables
  7. Keep the Work Pack Manager informed of progress and issues
  8. Attend meetings with clients and their representatives as required
