Responsibilities and Duties
- Facilitate implementation of OEPS processes and procedures to maintain those and ensure implementation of such processes in order to achieve short- and long-term business objectives. This is a critical role in describing how the business is managed, demonstrating our business values and how those values are met. The values incorporate occupational health and safety (all injuries are preventable), operational excellence (quality), and respect for the environment and the communities that we operate with or alongside.
- Conduct initial PL and 3rd party audits prior to project deployment, as discussed in the Project Execution Plan (PEP), to monitor compliance with standard operating procedures. Once complete, establish the continuous monitoring of PL and 3rd party SQ with audits held on a quarterly basis.
- Regularly measure (monthly) rig and PL performances against set KPIs and identify improvement areas, enabling the project management team in formulating necessary performance improvement actions.
- Evaluate the quality, proficiency, and efficiency of field operations through weekly well site visits to measure compliance with company standard operating procedures.
- Monitor organizational performance in the application of management tools defined in OEPS / WPTS and accordingly advise management on improvement areas.
- Ensure that all NCRs / NPT are entered WPTS with the appropriate classification and are followed up to closure utilizing Taproot methodology.
- Prepare KPI and SQ reviews, both internal and external, on a quarterly basis.
- Assist project management in creating Contract Quality/Execution Plan for successful contract implementation in alignment with OEPs processes.
- Ensure that critical information on technical and safety issues is distributed throughout the project team and involved PLs.
- Formalize SQ reviews internally and with key clients on a quarterly basis.
- Work closely with service quality managers for each product line participating in ISP project to ensure: WPTS is fully utilized by PLs (operations, maintenance, fault reporting) involved in the project, sufficient quantities of critical and spare parts are physically available, keeps up to date on new developments in tools, services, and evaluation techniques, proper maintenance procedures are followed, and proper and accurate reporting is being conducted via WPTS as per PL guidelines.
- Implementation and compliance of the individual PL Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Implement and ensure compliance to safety processes and protocols as directed by the PL and Country Structure.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as Engineering Director/Senior Engineering Manager is essential.
- Experience of managing Integrated Services engineering groups in the upstream sector.
- Capable of putting together teams of experts from various domains (constructing wells, making wells to produce more and for longer, change of use, and decommissioning wells).
- Experience of applying engineering processes and management techniques to ensure the experts produce sound, effective, and efficient engineering design for the performance of Integrated Projects.
- Manage different levels of specialties.
