Due to continued international growth, Oikonomakis Law is expanding its London presence and seeking a highly qualified Solicitor to join our UK team. This role offers exposure to high-profile clients, complex matters, and the opportunity to take on key leadership and compliance positions within our London branch. This is a diverse legal role involving advisory work, dispute resolution, drafting, negotiations, and regulatory oversight. The successful candidate will also assume core compliance and management positions within the London office:

  • Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP)
  • Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA)
  • Manager & Head of Legal Practice (London Office)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation across a wide range of matters
  • Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, agreements, and reports

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK laws and regulations, ensuring full SRA compliance
  • Oversee compliance processes and support the operational management of the London branch

Requirements

  • Qualified UK Solicitor status
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in practice
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and the ability to balance multiple deadlines
