Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Site Manager required on a permanent basis Our client is one of the UK's leading MEP subcontractors, delivering high-profile projects across the residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors. With an annual turnover of £40 million, they have built an outstanding reputation for delivering quality projects and are now looking to strengthen their site team with the appointment of an experienced Mechanical Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing business on a permanent basis, working on a prestigious mixed-use residential and commercial development in North West London. The Role Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Duties will include: * Supervising mechanical installation teams and specialist subcontractors. * Coordinating day-to-day site activities to ensure works are completed in line with programme. * Ensuring all mechanical works meet current industry standards and project specifications. * Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring a high standard of workmanship * Managing health & safety on site and ensuring compliance with company procedures. * Attending site meetings and liaising with the client, main contractor and wider project team. * Monitoring labour levels and reporting progress to senior management. * Assisting with planning and coordinating materials, deliveries and site logistics. * Supporting the successful delivery of the project through to completion. The ideal candidate will have progressed from the tools ideally and possess a strong mechanical background within the building services industry. You will ideally have: * A recognised Mechanical, Plumbing or Pipefitting qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent). * Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Mechanical Site Manager. * Strong residential project experience, ideally on large-scale apartment or mixed-use developments. * Excellent knowledge of mechanical building services installations. * SSSTS or SMSTS certification. * A valid CSCS / JIB Skill Card. * Strong communication and organisational skills. * The ability to manage site teams whilst maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.
