About Us: We are a leading Mechanical & Electrical subcontractor delivering high-quality projects across London. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee and deliver our mechanical projects efficiently and safely.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and liaise with clients to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full project management of mechanical construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting for all stakeholders
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues proactively
  • Monitor project performance, costs, and timelines, taking corrective action where necessary

Requirements:

  • Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ/HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering/Construction Management)
  • SMSTS / SSSTS certification
  • Proven experience managing mechanical construction projects valued at Β£6M+
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Previous experience working within the commercial fit out / Shell & core sector
