OHUK have the below position available, this would suit someone who has a good base electrical knowledge already and is looking to take the next step up: A well-established and highly regarded MEP subcontractor is seeking a Junior Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering prestigious multi-million-pound projects across Central London. Operating across the commercial fit-out, high-end residential and industrial sectors, this contractor has built a strong reputation for quality delivery and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a motivated electrical professional ready to take the next step in their career.
The Role
This position is ideal for a qualified electrician who has gained some level of supervisory experience and is now looking to progress into management. The successful candidate will be supported and developed within the business, with clear progression into a fully-fledged Electrical Project Manager role. You will be involved in:
- Assisting in the management of electrical packages on high-value projects
- Supporting programme delivery and coordination with site teams
- Supervising operatives and subcontractors
- Ensuring health & safety compliance on site
- Liaising with main contractors, consultants and clients
- Supporting procurement and material management
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) – Gold / black card
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Previous experience within commercial fit-out, high-end residential, or industrial projects
- Experience in a supervisory or lead electrician capacity
- Strong technical electrical knowledge
- Ambition to progress into project management
