OHUK have the below position available, this would suit someone who has a good base electrical knowledge already and looking to take the next step up: A well-established and highly regarded MEP subcontractor is seeking a Junior Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering prestigious multi-million-pound projects across Central London. Operating across the commercial fit-out, high-end residential and industrial sectors, this contractor has built a strong reputation for quality delivery and long-term client relationships. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a motivated electrical professional ready to take the next step in their career.
The Role
This position is ideal for a qualified electrician who has gained supervisory experience and is now looking to progress into management. The successful candidate will be supported and developed within the business, with clear progression into a fully-fledged Electrical Project Manager role. You will be involved in:
- Assisting in the management of electrical packages on high-value projects
- Supporting programme delivery and coordination with site teams
- Supervising operatives and subcontractors
- Ensuring health & safety compliance on site
- Liaising with main contractors, consultants and clients
- Supporting procurement and material management
Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) – Gold / black card
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Previous experience within commercial fit-out, high-end residential, or industrial projects
- Experience in a supervisory or lead electrician capacity
- Strong technical electrical knowledge
- Ambition to progress into project management
