A leading £40m turnover MEP subcontractor is looking to recruit a Graduate Mechanical OR Electrical OR Building Services Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering degree who is looking to start a long-term career within the MEP and construction industry. The company delivers major projects across the residential, mixed-use and commercial sectors, and you will initially be based on a flagship project in North West London.
The Role
- Working closely alongside a Senior Project Manager, you will gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of project engineering and project delivery, including:
- Assisting with project tracking and reporting
- Monitoring project programmes and progress
- Supporting the coordination of mechanical and electrical works
- Assisting with project documentation and technical records
- Attending site meetings and liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
- Learning the commercial and technical aspects of MEP project delivery
This role has been created to provide structured development and a clear pathway into a Project Engineer position.
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career within the MEP / Building Services sector
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced project environment
- Any placement, internship or site-based experience would be advantageous, but is not essential
