Electrician

OHUK are looking for an Electrician to work on a permanent basis for an Electrical Sub contractor who work within the commercial fit out sector.

The sites you will be working on are based throughout central London:

Duties / Requirements

• Carry out the installation, servicing, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with project requirements and recognised industry standards.
• Install and terminate containment systems such as tray, basket, conduit, and trunking to a professional standard.
• Set up, commission, and maintain DALI lighting control systems.
• Install and connect mains distribution equipment, including LV switchgear, distribution boards, and submain cabling.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
• Undertake testing, inspection, and certification in line with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Deliver all work safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high quality.
• Communicate and coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades on-site.
• Keep tools, equipment, and PPE properly maintained and in good working order.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Essential

• JIB gold card
• 18th edition
• Testing knowledge / qualifications beneficial
• Previous experience working on CAT A / B office fit out projects
