Electrical Project Engineer required on a permanent basis in London.

Our client, a leading MEP sub contractor who specialise in the commercial, educational, infrastructure and industrial sector throughout London and surrounding areas, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Engineer.

The company works on projects ranging up to a value of £60M+. Our client has been established within the construction industry for over 50 years and with an exceptional orderbook lined up for the foreseeable future, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary and exceptional package.

Please see below responsibilities and requirements for this position:

  • Providing engineering and management resource to direct, supervise and support all project related operations
  • Client and team liaising
  • Plan and undertake the project workload and allocate tasks to the team
  • Monitor the workload and tasks that other individuals both on site
  • Prepare operational project programmes in line with main project programme and identify labour and material procurement deadlines
  • Monitor project progress on a weekly basis
  • Prepare material procurement schedules
  • Monitor, coordinate own directly employed labour force/loan/Agency Labour Force/Sub-Contractors

Requirements:

  • SMSTS
  • ONC/HNC desirable
  • Relevant electrical qualifications
  • Previous experience managing projects within the commercial and industrial sector
